Keep “Pitch In For Baseball” in Mind This Summer

Twelve-year-old Nick Edwards, son of the Mid Parish (La.) Little League President Howard Edwards, poses with David Rhode, executive director of Pitch In For Baseball, during a delivery of equipment to the league.

As the tournament season wraps up, keep Pitch In For Baseball in mind.
We are still collecting new and “gently used” youth baseball and softball equipment. Many leagues in the Gulf Coast area will begin play this fall and they still need your help. One of the items in greatest demand is new baseballs. Also don’t forget to send along any gloves collected by your league in “lost and found.”

So as you put away equipment from this season, please consider making a donation of equipment to Pitch In For Baseball. Donations should be sent to:

Pitch In For Baseball
1901 Pennsylvania Avenue
Fort Washington, PA 19034

Any questions regarding Pitch In For Baseball should be directed to Executive Director, David Rhode. He can be reached at 215-371-2841 or drhode@pitchinforbaseball.org. You can also track the progress of the charity and the leagues they are assisting by visiting www.pitchinforbaseball.org.
