A Message from Pitch In For Baseball

Pitch In For Baseball congratulates every league that made a donation this year. Your generosity truly made a difference. During this year’s Little League International Tournament, a Little League team from D’Iberville, Miss., was successful in reaching the Southwest Regional Finals. D’Iberville is a community in the Biloxi area that was devastated by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. D’Iberville also benefited from the very first shipment of equipment Pitch In For Baseball made into the Gulf Coast Region. The folks from D’Iberville want Little Leagues around the country to know that your donation made a huge difference in their season.

Ace Hardware, an official sponsor of Little League Baseball and Softball, has teamed up with Pitch In For Baseball to help expand the growth of the game.

This August and September, participating Ace Hardware stores throughout the United States are helping to collect youth baseball gloves and catcher’s mitts for children in need.

Many communities still need assistance, so as your family or your league puts away equipment from this season and looks ahead to fall baseball and softball, please consider making a donation to Pitch In For Baseball. Our biggest needs remain gloves and new baseballs, as well as financial contributions to ship these items. Donations can be sent directly to:
