Construction Ahead of Schedule

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (May 2, 2006) – Construction is progressing ahead of schedule on the improvements at Howard J. Lamade Stadium and Little League Volunteer Stadium, where the annual Little League Baseball World Series is played.

The roof over most of the seating at Lamade Stadium is being extended to the ends of the seating areas, and nearly 1,000 extra seats with backs are being added. See the full story here.

At both stadiums, the outfield fences are being moved back 20 feet, to a distance of 225 feet overall. See the full story here.
