Fifth Annual Western Region Challenger Jamboree Coming to Dublin, Calif.
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (April 23, 2009) – Local Little League administrators, parents and special needs children will gather in Dublin, Calif., on May 22-24, 2009 to participate in the fifth annual Western Region Challenger Jamboree. Marilyn Wittstock Is 2009 Little League Challenger Award Winner
SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (Aug. 5, 2009) – Marilyn Wittstock of Washington Township, Mich., has volunteered in the Clinton Valley Little League and Michigan District 6 for more than 20 years. During the past three years, she raised more than $140,000 through donations and fundraising events in support of the Michigan District 6 Challenger Division to build a playing field specifically designed for disabled children.

Little League Mourns Passing of Challenger Division Pioneer and Little League Volunteer Jake Hardison
SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (March 14, 2012) - Little League International mourns the passing today of Jake Hardison of Virginia, a dedicated Little League volunteer and an integral person in the development of the Little League Challenger program. Mr. Hardison was 85 years old.
