Ketchikan, Alaska Slates a Visit from
Little League Road Show
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (March 12, 2008) – Local Little
League administrators will gather in Ketchikan, Alaska, on Saturday,
April 5, to participate in a Little League Road Show. This clinic is
one of several training and information seminars to be conducted in
the coming months by Little League Baseball and Softball at various
locations across the country.
The Road Show is aimed at sharing Little League’s services and
educational materials with local leagues. Little League staff members
from the West Region Headquarters in San Bernardino, Calif., will be
administering the clinic.
Currently, there are seven chartered Little League programs in Alaska
District 2. In Alaska, nearly 7,700 players participate in the Little
League program, who come together to form more than 550 teams and 26
leagues.
