Little League Road Show to Make Stop in
Golden Valley, Minn.
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (Feb. 14, 2008) – Local Little
League administrators will gather in Golden Valley, Minn., on
Saturday, March 1, to participate in a Little League Road Show. This
clinic is one of several training and information seminars to be
conducted in the coming months by Little League Baseball and Softball
at various locations across the country.
The Road Show is aimed at sharing Little League’s services and
educational materials with local leagues. Little League staff members
from the Central Regional Headquarters in Indianapolis, will be
administering the clinic.
Currently, there are a total of 20 chartered Little League programs in
Minnesota District 1. In Minnesota, 17,100 players participate in the
Little League program. Collectively, they form 1,222 teams and 54
leagues.
