2011 Redesigned Rule Books Now Available

The 2011 editions of the Little League Rule Books are now available on-line from Little League International in Williamsport, as well as the Regional Centers.

As always, local Little Leagues will receive a supply of FREE Rule Books (one per team) after applying for the 2011 charter. The League Supplies Kits, which will include the free Rule Books, have been shipped to leagues that have sent in the Application for Charter and Insurance.

Based on the retail price of the Rule Books ($7), the free copies in the League Supplies Kit represent an average savings of $175 for every local Little League.

And for the third year, anyone can purchase a Little League Rule Book from Little League International. Before 2009, Little League only sold the books to the local League President or District Administrator when they produced the League or District ID number.

For 2011, the retail price for the three books (Baseball, Softball, Challenger Division) remains at $7 each.

There is a discount only for a local Little League Officer, or a District Officer, when they produce the League or District ID number. The discount is available only in-person and through phone orders. The discount is not available for on-line orders.

If a local Little League Officer, or a District Officer, wishes to order more rule books at the discounted rate, he or she may do so using one of these two methods only:

1. Present the League or District ID Number in person at Little League International or at any Regional Office.
2. Present the League or District ID Number by telephone at Little League International or at any Regional Office.

Anyone else who wishes to place an order in person, by phone, or through the Little League On-Line Store at http://www.littleleaguestore.net/, may purchase rule books for $7 each.

Once again, the price for ALL on-line orders of rule books is $7 each. A reduced price is available only for a local Little League Officer, or a District Officer, who supplies the ID Number when ordering, and when they order by phone or in person.

In all cases involving shipping, additional charges will apply.

The rules also will are available electronically, on-line. The Little League E-Rules may be ordered by anyone for $20, which allows the purchaser to place a copy of the Baseball, Softball and Challenger Rule Books on any computer, but access is password protected.

Those League Presidents or District Administrators who present a League/District ID Number by one of the two methods listed above will receive a discount of $10 for every E-Rule ordered. (District Administrators will receive one free copy each.)
