Dixie Little League: Located in Houston,
Texas, Dixie Little League is in Texas District 15, under
District Administrator Ferris Maness. The league has been a
chartered member of Little League since 1950, and involved in
the Little League Urban Initiative for four years. Approximately
300 children are participating in the Dixie Little League, which
fields 25 teams in baseball and softball. The league president
is Robert Garza, and the league is a member of the Council of
Houston Inner City Little Leagues (CHILL).
