Developing Major League People
In 2013, Little League® lost one of its own at the Boston Marathon Bombing when Martin Richard, 8, a player for Savin Hill Little League in Dorchester, Mass., passed away. After raising money for the family last year, the Grafton (Mass.) Little League has set a goal of supporting the Martin W. Richard Charitable Foundation by helping raise $50,000 this year.   Click here to read more

In 1956, Little League® held its first International Congress, a gathering of volunteers to discuss the future of the organization. From April 4-7, Little League convened the 26th Little League International Congress with thousands of volunteers in attendance.
