The Little League Baseball® World Series Is a Home Run for ESPN
The 2014 Little League Baseball® World Series ranked as the most-watched programming ever on ESPN networks (ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 combined), according to Nielsen numbers. The average audience of 1,724,000 viewers was up 71 percent from 2013, via 54 games. In addition, the 2014 Little League Baseball World Series ranked as the highest-rated on ESPN networks since 2002, with an average 1.1 U.S. rating, up 57 percent. The Little League Baseball World Series Championship weekend averaged 4,163,000 viewers and a 2.7 score, the best in both categories since 2002. Cynopsis Media – Aug. 29, 2014
