Little League®, Taylor Hooton Foundation Team Up to Educate Parents about APEDs

Little League parents, coaches and volunteers need to be alerted to the use and abuse of steroids and other Appearance and Performance Enhancing Drugs (APEDs) by youth athletes. The Taylor Hooton Foundation and Little League® Baseball and Softball have come together to create a program that is designed to educate and inform about the dangers of APEDs.

Little League® Big Legacy Project Supports Pitch In For Baseball

For every memory uploaded to the Little League® Big Legacy Project, $1, up to $50,000, will be donated to Pitch In For Baseball, a non-profit organization that helps provide equipment to local baseball and softball programs in need. With the donation from the Little League Big Legacy Project, Pitch In For Baseball will be able to help tens of thousands of Little Leaguers® all across the world.

Stanford University Hosts Little League Softball® Day Celebration
The Stanford University Cardinal Softball team is loaded with Little League®-groomed talent, and they got to share their experiences with a group of current Little Leaguers at the Stanford University Little League Softball Day on March 9.

Renowned Artist Charles Fazzino Comes to Little League® International
Through the support of the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania (FCFP), pop artist Charles Fazzino held a series of educational workshops for students and teachers from Lycoming and Sullivan County school districts in Pennsylvania to work on the official artwork for the 75th Anniversary of Little League®. Delegates to Gather at the 2014 Little League® International Congress in Minneapolis

The 26th Little League® International Congress will convene April 4-7 in Minneapolis, Minn. During the event, hundreds of D.A.s and A.D.A.s will gather to celebrate the program’s 75th Anniversary, honor the accomplishments of their peers, and help forge Little League’s future by proposing, amending and adopting the program’s rules and regulations.

California's Imperial Beach Little League® Showcases Unique 75th Anniversary Sculpture

A group of former Imperial Beach Little League players and volunteers created a unique sand sculpture in celebration of their league’s opening ceremony and the 75th Anniversary of the founding of Little League®. Local leagues are invited and encouraged to recognize Little League's Diamond Anniversary as part of their own special events throughout the season.
