Little League Softball® Grad Honored with Gatorade Player of the Year Award

Carley Hoover, a graduate of Simpsonville Little League® in South Carolina was a standout pitcher who helped guide her team into the 2008 Little League Softball World Series. Earlier this year, Carley was selected as the Gatorade National Softball Player of the Year.

Little League® World Series Alums Play in the MLB World Series

St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Lance Lynn and Xander Bogaerts, a third baseman and shortstop for the Boston Red Sox, have been in opposing dugouts during the 2013 Major League Baseball World Series, but both have Little League® World Series ties.
