As a result of voting conducted online by volunteer District Administrators around the world, the Little League International Board of Directors approved a measure to create a new division of Little League Baseball.

Each spring Little League Baseball and Softball rewards high school scholars in the Lycoming County (Pa.) area with the Carl E. Stotz Little League Baseball Scholarship.
