Little League International Provides Latest Updates on Bat Moratorium
Marty Hoy Nominated to Represent Western Region on Little League International Board of Directors
Little League International has received additional results regarding ABI (Accelerated Break In) testing for previously-licensed composite-barreled bats for use in the Little League (Majors) Division and below.
Marty Hoy, of Torrance, Calif., will replace Robert Fleming, from Las Vegas, Nev., on the Little League International Board of Directors. If approved, Mr. Hoy will assume his seat on the Board when the 24 members meet in November.
Bartlomiej Sochacki Named Assistant Director of Little League's Europe, Middle East and Africa Region
Russell Athletic Renews Agreement with Little League Baseball and Softball
Bartlomiej (Bart) Sochacki, a native of Szczecinek, Poland, has been named the Assistant Director of Little League's Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Region in Kutno, Poland.
Russell Athletic will continue as the "Official Uniform Provider of the Little League Baseball and Softball World Series." The athletic apparel company will supply the team uniforms for all eight Little League Baseball and Softball World Series.

Stephen D. Keener, President and Chief Executive Officer of Little League Baseball and Softball, recently attended the public introduction of the "pitcher's helmet," which was developed by the Easton-Bell sporting goods company.
All ASAP plans must be implemented before the season starts in order to qualify as an approved plan for the current year. Mandatory Background checks also must be completed before the start of the season.
