The first test results have been received at Little League International regarding composite-barreled bats for use in the Little League (Majors) Division and below. Little League has created a list for those bats that have received waivers of the moratorium.

While sifting through some old boxes in a storage unit, 62-year-old Leo E. Boyle of Fort Myers, Fla., discovered a photograph of the Highland Park Little League team he played on in 1959, while living in Lowell, Mass.

Mike Legge to Retire; Nina Johnson Named Central Region Director

All ASAP plans must be implemented before the season starts in order to qualify as an approved plan for the current year. Mandatory Background checks also must be completed before the start of the season.

Mike Legge, Director of Little League's Central Region, has announced his retirement. Assistant Central Region Director Nina Johnson will assume the region director's position later this year.
