Little Leaguer Newsletter Takes on a New Look

Southeastern Region Headquarters Dedication Ceremony Set for June

The "Little Leaguer" electronic newsletter has been redesigned for easier viewing, readability. Tabs and colors are expected to better direct the reader's attention.

Warner Robins, Ga., will officially become the new home of Little League’s Southeastern Region when a dedication ceremony is held in June.

 

Leagues, Volunteers Encouraged to Submit Nominees for 2010 Little League Awards Program

ESPN to Expand Coverage of Little League Baseball Regional Tournaments

Local Little League volunteers are recognized each year through awards presented as a result of nominations set into to the Little League Awards program. The time is now to start considering worthy volunteers.

More Little League Baseball Tournament Games will be available on TV this Summer. The ESPN family of networks will be television regional semifinal games.

 

Umpires Selected for the Eight Little League Baseball and Softball World Series

Little League Graduate Receives Silver Star for Exceptional Valor

The volunteer umpires has been chosen for the 2010 World Series, All eight of Little League’s World Series will have a crew chosen on merit and experience through the various levels of tournament play.

Little League graduate Andrew L. Bundermann, a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, received a Silver Star for exceptional valor during his tour in Afghanistan.

 

Little League Offers Multiple Weeks of Baseball Camps at Three Sites

Volunteer Umpires Hone Their Skills at Little League Umpire School

This summer, players will have the opportunity to enjoy Little League Baseball Camps at three different locations, including Little League International in South Williamsport, Pa.

Nearly 40 umpires visited Little League International for a week of instruction at Little League Umpire School.

Little League International, Baseball Factory Offering Little League Experience

Little League Baseball and Softball Mourns the Passing of John Christensen, California District 52 Administrator

Little League International will be hosting the Little League Experience powered by the Baseball Factory over Memorial Day weekend.

John Christensen, who served as California District 52 Administrator for more than 10 years and a Little League umpire for nearly 40 years, has passed away.
