New Little League Southeastern Region Headquarters Dedicated

NASA Exhibits Coming to Little League Baseball World Series – Ceremonial First Pitch to Be in Space

The new Little League Southeastern Region Complex in Warner Robins, Ga., was formally dedicated on June 12 with several dignitaries on hand to celebrate the opening of the new facility.

On Aug. 20, 2010, during Opening Ceremonies of the 64th Little League Baseball World Series, the ceremonial first pitch will be delivered (via video) from the International Space Station.

The Little League Urban Initiative and the City of Richmond (Va.) recently dedicated a new field for the North Richmond Little League.

The fifth annual Little League World Challenger Jamboree was recently held at the Azalea Little League Complex in Norfolk, Va. The Jamboree welcomed nearly 100 teams, representing 10 U.S. states.

 

NHL’s Chris Drury Elected to Little League Foundation Board of Trustees

Little League International, Baseball Factory Hit Home Run with Inaugural Little League Experience

Chris Drury, Captain of the National Hockey League’s New York Rangers, has become the first Little League Baseball World Series alumnus to be elected to the Little League Foundation Board of Trustees.

The Little League Experience, held over Memorial Day weekend in South Williamsport, Pa., gave Little Leaguers the unique opportunities to receive elite instruction and to play on the World Series fields.

Little League International mourns the recent passing of Mike DeBartolo, former New Jersey District 6 Administrator. He was 63.
