Little League Connect Training Sessions
This month, Little League International and our team at PowerChalk, have launched a series of ongoing education and training sessions for you to become more familiar and adept at using our motion analysis system, Little League Connect.
Nick Caringi, Senior Director of Operations and Education at Little League International and I will co-host the sessions, and we will cover the basics of how to use the system. From uploading a video and analyzing it, to saving a session and sharing it with a player/parent or another coach, we hope to provide you with as much information as possible on how to use this exciting system.
Additionally and to make these sessions more dynamic, we will walk you through some basics on how to use motion analysis to break down a pitcher's delivery or hitter's swing, as well as base running techniques and defensive positioning using the interactive diagrams that are available to you.
These sessions are "live" so that you can see the system in action, and we will conduct these over the course of the 2012 season. Participation is limited, and each session will be recorded. If you are unable to participate for any reason, the recorded sessions will be posted on the Coaches Resource Center under the sample content tab and on YouTube, by simply searching for Little League Connect.
Finally, if you haven't signed up for your complimentary Little League Connect account, go to www.littleleagueconnect.org, and follow the simple instructions. We hope that these sessions will be of help to you, and wish you all the best of luck this season.
