It has been a lifetime for me, but what I do remember are the vivid memories of having a great time. Why not team up with Little League next summer and provide your child with this same experience at one of our Little League camps. Check out the camp schedule here: http://www.littleleague.org/learn/about/camps.htm Several sessions of week-long instruction are offered at Little League International, in South Williamsport, Pa., home of the annual Little League Baseball World Series, and Green Acres in Hillsgrove, Pa. Children are encouraged to develop leadership skills and self-confidence amid new-found friends. The nice thing about Little League camp is it provides your child with a well-rounded experience away from home. Not only will your child learn about baseball, but he or she also will return home with a vast assortment of memories. The camp schedule is created to maximize fun for your child and provide a well-rounded total camp experience, including swimming, basketball, and ping pong. Your child will leave our camp having a fun-filled experience along with a ton of baseball skill and knowledge. Little League Baseball Camp emphasizes fundamentals, sportsmanship, in a fun atmosphere, as campers learn hone their baseball skills. The comprehensive program challenges campers to improve their batting and individual skills, experiment at new positions, and gain actual game experience as part of a camp team. Achievement awards, recognizing on-field accomplishment and other recreational skills, are presented at the conclusion of camp.
