Little League Baseball Camp Speed Training

By Jamie Joy, Manager of Operations

Hitting, fielding, groundballs, fly balls, soft toss, bunting and cage work are all common terms and practice routines in coaching circles, but how does a coach develop a player's speed? I think most coaches or managers assume that their players have all the skills they need to be successful in the speed department and neglect to touch on a necessary tool of the game.

Little League Baseball Camp's very own Marilouise Mazzante with the help of LittleLeagueCoach.org brings speed training to life. This is a necessary skill to learn and there are many drills to literally help start your players off on the right foot.

This is taught at Little League Baseball Camp and is also shown at LittleLeagueCoach.org. Please follow the link to watch her video http://littleleaguecoach.org/home.aspx?article=799 and happy training!
