Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get there?
The Peter J. McGovern Little League Museum is located at 525 Route 15 Highway in South Williamsport, Pa. The museum is on the Little League International complex, two miles south of Williamsport (Routes 220 and 180). From the south, it is 15 miles north of Interstate 180 on Route 15. Although Route 15 has an alternate route, the museum is accessible by continuing north on the highway.

Please note: Although the museum is closed for renovations until June 2013, visitors may still visit Little League International complex where the Little League World Series is played. Self-guided tours of the complex are available 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (except for holidays) at the Administration Building lobby or the Stadium Gift Shop behind Lamade Stadium (turn at Ballpark Boulevard).

What are the hours and rates?
Please see the Museum Main Page for when the museum will reopen in June.  The museum is closed Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays. Admission is $1.50 for children (ages 5 through 13), $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens (62 years and older). Children four and younger are admitted free of charge. Other hours are by appointment only.

Is the museum accessible to those who have a disability?
Yes. All the exhibits are on one level.

Do you have group rates and guided tours?

We offer group rates for pre-registered organizations of at least 25 people. Rates are $1 for children between the ages of five and 13; $3 for adults; $2 for senior citizens and children four and younger are admitted free. Guided tours are available at no additional charge. Guided tours are not offered during the Little League Baseball World Series. There is an additional fee for guided group tours (pre-registration required) of the Little League International complex.

Does Dugout make appearances at parties or tours at the museum?

Dugout, if available, still makes private off-site appearances even though the museum is closed. Please contact the museum at 570-326-3607 for additional information.

Can the museum be rented after hours?
At this time the museum is closed to the public until June. Please call 570-326-3607 to discuss opportunities after it reopens.
