World of Little League®: General Information

The World of Little League®: Peter J. McGovern Museum and Official Store is located at 525 Montgomery Pike (U.S. 15) South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. It is 15 miles north of Interstate 80 (exit 210) and two miles south of Route 220/Interstate 180.

The World of Little League is open every day from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., with extended hours during the Little League Baseball World Series.

Holiday Closings/Inclement Weather/Maintenance: The Museum is closed for holiday observances on Jan. 1, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Dec. 24-25, and Dec. 31. Additionally, in the event of inclement weather or maintenance work at the Little League Complex, the Museum may be closed.   • Free admission for any person bearing a Geneva Convention common access card, a DD (Department of Defense) Form 1173 ID card, or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card, which includes active duty U.S. Military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard), as well as members of the National Guard and Reserve, U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, or those bearing a government-issued retirement ID card from any of these organizations. Up to five accompanying family members also will be admitted free with the guest.

  • Free admission for any person who identifies himself/herself as a current Little Leaguer®, AND who is wearing a shirt/jersey that has the Little League® Official Shoulder Patch on it.

Group Tour Options at the Home of Little League Baseball:

Option 1 - World of Little League Only

  • Special rate for minimum group of 20 or more paying visitors arriving and paying as a group.
  • Self-guided tour takes about 1 hour – Any day of the week. Not available in August or on Federal Holidays.
  • Includes time for shopping in the World of Little League® Official Store.
  • Admission:
    • General: $4 (normally $5)
    • Seniors 62 and up: $2 (normally $3)
    • Children ages 5-12: $1 (normally $2)
    • Children 4 and under: Free
  • Free Audio Tour Guide rental (English & other languages) for up to 45 people – a $3 value each.
  • Added benefits for one Tour Host and one Driver, per bus:
    • Free admission to the Museum.
    • Two $10 vouchers (one for the driver and one for the tour guide/host) with 20-29 people paying General Admission and/or Senior Admission from that bus.
    • Two $15 vouchers (one for the driver and one for the tour guide/host) with 30-39 people paying General Admission and/or Senior Admission from that bus.
    • Two $20 vouchers (one for the driver and one for the tour guide/host) with 40 or more people paying General Admission and/or Senior Admission from that bus.
    • Note: Vouchers are good for any merchandise in the Museum Official Store, on the day of the tour. No change given. All sales final.

Option 2 - Little League® World Series Grand Slam Group Tour with Hot Lunch

This is a limited-time group offer that highlights the annual Little League Baseball® World Series, providing behind-the-scenes access not available to the general public.

  • Up to 55 people @ $25 per person (minimum charge is $500 per group).
  • Deposit required: $100, applied to final bill for minimum of 20 persons, up to the number of people actually on the tour. Deposit is non-refundable if the tour is cancelled 10 days or less before tour date. Full payment is due upon arrival at Little League® International.
  • Available one weekday per week. Exceptions: Available only on Fridays during June and July; Not available during August, or on Federal Holidays.
  • Recommended arrival time at complex for bus, to ensure lunch will be served: 10 a.m. to noon.
  • If arriving by scheduled bus: One Tour Host and one Driver per bus – free with 20 or more paying visitors.

Items included (*not available to the general public) in the Grand Slam Group Tour:

  • World of Little League® Museum Admission - Self-guided tour, with free Audio Tour Guide for up to 45 people. English and other languages available. Museum tour includes time for shopping in a well-stocked Official Store, with Little League Baseball® World Series souvenirs and gifts.
  • * Official Store discount of 15 percent for each paying passenger when spending $25 or more.
  • * Guided Tour of International Grove – Including a walkthrough of a Little League Baseball® World Series Dormitory, if available.
  • * Guided Behind-the-Scenes Tour of Lamade Stadium – Including entry onto stadium surface (warning track area near dugout) if available, and weather permitting.
  • * Hot lunch at the Little League Baseball® World Series Dining Hall – Set menu choices are available when booking more than 30 days in advance.

Lunch Details

  • Lunch is served every day to Little League® employees during the workweek in the Dining Hall where teams in the Little League Baseball® World Series have their meals. Lunch includes one hot main item, plus full salad bar and two soups.
  • Group must arrive at the Dining Hall for lunch between 11: 30 a.m. and 1 p.m., and must take lunch together. Other elements of the Tour (museum, stadium, dormitories) can be arranged to accommodate this. Lunch takes about 45 minutes. Total time for the Grand Slam Tour is approximately 2-2½ hours. (Expires 12-31-2017.)
