World of Little League®: General Information

The World of Little League®: Peter J. McGovern Museum and Official Store is located at 525 Montgomery Pike (U.S. 15) South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. It is 15 miles north of Interstate 80 (exit 210) and two miles south of Route 220/Interstate 180.

The World of Little League is open every day from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., with extended hours during the Little League Baseball World Series.

Holiday Closings/Inclement Weather/Maintenance: The Museum is closed for holiday observances on Jan. 1, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Dec. 24-25, and Dec. 31. Additionally, in the event of inclement weather or maintenance work at the Little League Complex, the Museum may be closed.   • Free admission for any person bearing a Geneva Convention common access card, a DD (Department of Defense) Form 1173 ID card, or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card, which includes active duty U.S. Military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard), as well as members of the National Guard and Reserve, U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, or those bearing a government-issued retirement ID card from any of these organizations. Up to five accompanying family members also will be admitted free with the guest.

  • Free admission for any person who identifies himself/herself as a current Little Leaguer®, AND who is wearing a shirt/jersey that has the Little League® Official Shoulder Patch on it.

Group Tour Options at the Home of Little League Baseball:

Please note – Group tour options referenced below are for 20 people or more. They must be booked in advance except where indicated. Group tours do not necessarily need to arrive at the Museum by bus, but must be paid for as a group.

Shortstop (15 minutes)

This is a quick in-and out. Only a few steps from your motorcoach, our Expert Guide will give your group an overview of the Little League World Series Complex, including a commanding view of famous Lamade Stadium. After that, they’ll go into the Official Store to shop for the perfect World Series souvenir or unique Little League gift. There is no charge for the Shortstop Tour, requires only a 1-day notice, and it is available seven days a week (except on Federal Holidays).

Base Hit Tour (60 minutes)

After stepping off the motorcoach at the Museum’s front door, this tour begins with our Expert Guide providing an overview of the Little League World Series Complex, including a commanding view of famous Lamade Stadium. Then we go inside the Museum for an experience that FlipKey (a TripAdvisor company) ranked as the No. 1 Family Attraction in all of Pennsylvania. Includes time for shopping in the well-stocked World of Little League® Official Store. Available seven days a week except during August and Federal Holidays. No deposit required.

Special admission rates:

• General: $4 (normally $5)
• Seniors 62 and up: $2 (normally $3)
• Children ages 5-12: $1 (normally $2)
• Children 4 and under: Free

BONUS benefits for one Tour Host and one Driver, per bus:

• Free admission to the Museum.
• A voucher for between $10 and $20, depending on the number of guests paying General Admission. Vouchers are good toward any merchandise in the Museum Official Store, on the day of the tour. No change given. All sales final.

Grand Slam Group Tour with Hot Lunch (2.5 hours)

This is a limited-time group offer that highlights the annual Little League Baseball® World Series, providing experiences not available to the general public. It includes a hot lunch provided in the same dining area used each year by the 16 teams during the Little League Baseball World Series, as well as a behind-the-scenes guided tour of Lamade Stadium, site of the annual World Series since 1959, and the players’ dormitories. Self-guided Museum tour is included. Must book 30 days in advance.

Fee is $25 per person (minimum charge is $500 per group). Deposit of $100 is non-refundable if the tour is cancelled 10 days or less before tour date. Available one weekday per week. Exceptions: Available only on Fridays during June and July; Not available during August, or on Federal Holidays.

Same BONUS benefits for Tour Host and Driver as in Base Hit Tour above.

Little League Baseball World Series Experience

This is a unique experience during the annual Little League Baseball World Series in August. It provides Museum admission, a guided walk onto the Stadium surface, voucher for food at the Concessions area, World Series Pin and Program, reserved seating for one or two games, and more. Call for details. (NOTE: This experience requires significant walking, including walking up and down steps, and walking onto soft ground areas.)
