Chartered leagues in their first year of affiliation receive 50 free rule books, and a 50 percent discount on its order of Little League uniform patches. In a league’s second year, the discount continues as the $16-per-team fee is waived.

An established local league allows a community to bring baseball and softball operations under one umbrella, provides opportunities for the community to be represented in the Little League International Tournament and provides various opportunities to host Little League tournaments.

The “Little League” name is the most recognized and respected name in youth sports. A League uses the “Little League” brand to grow its local program through name recognition and the many opportunities Little League offers. Worldwide recognition comes every August as nearly 70 Little League Baseball and Softball games are televised worldwide on ABC and the ESPN family of networks.
