Your website acts as a strong foundation and can help create awareness of your league when utilized to its fullest. So, before you start promoting your league and registration, make sure your website looks clean, up to date, and organized for the best user experience. If your website is unclear or confusing, your online visitors will leave before they can learn about your league or register!

Recommended ways to focus your website management efforts:

Establish Branding: Be sure to include your league’s logo and the Little League® logo to establish credibility. Also, consistently use your league’s colors across the site to create a strong brand presence. Utilize the Little League templates to co-brand your league with the trusted Little League International logo.

Build Out Your Calendar and Important Dates: List important dates and/or create an online calendar that plots out all of your not-to-be missed registration deadlines, tournaments and more.

Use Incentives: If you’ve got a great deal going on, make sure your site visitors know about it. For example, if parents can save $5 by registering before January 1st, put that on your website in a prominent place.

Add Pictures & Videos: Everyone likes photos, so be sure to load up your site with images of last season’s players and games. You can also create short videos of either game recaps or welcome messages from Board members. Remember that visuals are a form of content and they can be more effective to a particular group of people.

Keep Visitors Informed: Use your home page to communicate the most current news and information. Avoid cramming all the information on your home page and instead spread it out on other navigation pages, so only the most important and current info is front and center.

eteamz Basic vs. eteamz PLUS

While the free, basic version of eteamz suits the needs for most teams, many leagues and districts with more complex needs choose to pay to upgrade their site to the eteamz “PLUS” version. PLUS sites come equipped with more features including an integration with Facebook, larger storage space, additional site customization options, and more ways to communicate with site members.

Additionally, eteamz PLUS offers “add-on” features that can be purchased on a one-off basis, including the creation of vanity web addresses, email addresses, and more. For eteamz feature options and pricing, visit: eteamz.com/websites/pricing.
