As people spend more time on social media websites, it’s important as ever to use these sites to promote your league’s activities and our 75th Anniversary. If you already have a Facebook and/or Twitter account for your league, make sure to incorporate the 75th Anniversary Logo in your profile and banner images. If you’re not utilizing social media for your league, consider creating an account to help promote your league all year long.

Official Hashtag

Little League’s official hashtag for the Anniversary is: #LittleLeague75. Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites are great ways to share in the celebration. When sharing photos and posts about your celebrations, make sure to use our official hashtag, and don’t forget to connect directly with us @LittleLeague on Twitter and Facebook to let us know about your social media posts.

New to Facebook and Twitter?

Keep your posts simple and straightforward. Sharing a photo with your post or Tweet is always a great idea to get more engagement. When looking for the perfect photo or video to share, make sure that the image or video is clear, crisp and exciting. Most smartphones and digital cameras take photos and video that are perfect for sharing on social media sites. Photos of in-game action, parents cheering in the stands, players warming up or walking to the field, are all great scenes to post on your social media pages. Think of what makes the Little League experience special at your local league, and try to share the photos and videos that reflect those experiences.

Share Your Success

Little League appreciates your help in celebrating our anniversary, and we want to know about your success promoting it! If you get your local news to do a story about your 75th Anniversary celebrations, or have your own photos, videos and stories to share, make sure you post them on Facebook, Twitter or email them to photos@littleleague.org.
