Little League International strongly encourages all local Little Leagues to incorporate this safety program into your annual fundraising efforts during player registration. Family Trusted Child ID is a tool for parents that safely stores their child's photos and information in a "virtual vault" for instant access by law enforcement in case a child goes missing.

We suggest that every player in your local league contribute $20 as part of the annual player registration fee. Your local league keeps $10. With the other $10, your local league buys two "lifetime" Family Trusted Child ID accounts for the player. Each account is for a family of up to 10 children and includes a card for parents with a unique single-use code that activates one free account. The cards are intended for the player's family, with at least one extra card to give away to family members, friends or neighbors as a community service.
