Winter: Send in your Charter now!

By this time, every local Little League should have received the 2011 charter application from Little League International.  It is very important to the operations of the local league to submit the charter application to Little League International.

Online chartering for the 2011 Little League season is now open and available through the Little League Data Center.

Leagues are encouraged to electronically complete and submit the 2011 charter application.

Payment of all charter fees will be completed and accounted for in a separate transaction.

To begin, retrieve and complete the charter application, click here.

For leagues interested in chartering a 50-70 program for the 2011 season, click here.

Local Little League programs are protected by local league insurance. By submitting the charter application prior to the end of the year, it ensures that the league does not have a break in insurance coverage. It is important to note that without proper insurance coverage, the league and its officials will not be properly covered for any league activities.

If necessary, team number adjustments can be made in writing using a charter/insurance change application available at www.LittleLeague.org after registrations are complete.

League supplies are very important to the operation of a local league. By submitting the charter application by the end of the year, the league will receive all of its supplies early. This may allow managers/coaches to have a copy of the 2011 rule book prior to the playing season.

For any questions about the charter application, please contact Little League International.
