Winter: The Local Little League Internet Site
Thanks to Little League’s exclusive relationship with activeteamsports.com, every local Little League in the world can have its own free homepage on the World Wide Web.
Setting up a homepage is simple. A League Information Officer (LIO) is secured - someone who will devote the time needed for creating and updating the site. This job takes on even more importance later, when providing rosters to Little League International in Williamsport.
The LIO then visits http://www.activesports.com/partners/little-league-baseball.htm, clicks on the link to get started at the top of the page, and follows the directions for setting up a web site.
Remember, any use of any Little League trademark requires specific written approval from Little League International, including use on the Internet.
A local Little League is permitted to have a web site hosted on a site other than Active's eteamz.com. However, if it does so, it must first have a site on www.eteamz.com that links to the main site. Again, the site on eteamz.com is free.
