Little League International Tournament Eligibility:

Tournament Reminders:

  • Little League® International Tournament Verification: Pat Wilson, Vice President of Operations and Program Development for Little League Baseball® and Little League Softball®, joined Nick Caringi, Little League’s Senior Director of Operations and Education, for a video presentation that featured a clarification discussion on how the second year of the Tournament Verification form will work. Also addressed in the video is school enrollment and how it impacts tournament eligibility.

  • Schedules: Each District Administrator must finalize tournament schedules prior to the start of the tournament or June 15 (whichever comes first). Schedules for each level (District, Section, Division, State, and Regional) must utilize Little League® International-approved single-elimination brackets, double-elimination brackets, or pool play format with a pool play tie-breaker format. All other tournament formats must be approved by the Little League International Tournament Committee.

  • Must Play to Advance: A team shall not advance from one level of the Little League® International Tournament to a higher level of tournament play without first having competed against and defeated a scheduled opponent at the tournament level from which it is seeking to advance. Any team advancing without play must do so with the approval of the Regional Director.

  • Tournament Enrollment Application: It is important to confirm that all leagues entered into your District Tournament have completed and submitted the proper tournament participation form. All leagues that have not submitted a tournament participation form are not eligible to participate in any level of the Little League International Tournament.

  • Tournament Supplies: For all of your updated Tournament Resources visit the Tournament Resource Page. Some of the resources you will find on the page include updated tournament rules, tournament enrollment forms, affidavits, proof of age requirements, player verification forms and a tournament FAQ. Local league tournament supplies complete with baseball and softball affidavits have been mailed to all local leagues.
