Little League Baseball® World Series Tickets: Ticket request forms for the 2013 Little League Baseball World Series have been e-mailed or mailed. Please complete the form and return it to Pam Wright at Little League International by May 31, 2013. 2013 Tournament Application and Mandatory Background Check Verification Form: Little League International in South Williamsport, Pa., is encouraging leagues to log onto the Little League Data Center to enroll in the 2013 Little League International Tournament by completing the participation form available here. This form must be completed, whether your leagues intend to participate in tournament play, or not. The form must be submitted to Little League International to avoid having the league(s) placed on hold for the 2014 season.
League Fees Paid by Credit Card: All team revisions and fees for charter insurance are due no later than June 7, 2013. If a league wishes to pay by credit card, contact Little League International at: 570-326-1921, and ask for the Finance Department. A convenience fee of three (3) percent will be added to your league’s balance for processing the card.
2013 ASAP Information for Hosting Tournaments: Tournament rules require any host of a section, division, region or World Series must have an approved ASAP safety plan. ALL safety plans must be submitted WITH the Qualified Safety Plan Registration form. Your safety plan WILL NOT be shown as received or approved without the form stating who is submitting it, and where the 15 minimum requirements can be found in the league(s) plan. Also, check the Little League Data Center to confirm leagues have completed all of the required background checks.
Hats and Supplies: District Administrator hats and other specific supplies will be delivered prior to the tournament mailing. All updates on tournament resources are available here.
Eligibility Waiver Deadline: All waiver requests involving player eligibility must be processed by the district and respective regional offices, and acted upon by the Little League International Charter Committee in South Williamsport, no later than June 5, 2013 and prior to said player participating in the local Little League program.
2013 Little League® Awards Program: June 1 is the deadline for nominations for the 2013 Little League Awards Program. Information on the respective awards, nomination forms for the awards and highlights of past recipients are available here. Send your completed nomination forms directly to Little League International in South Williamsport, Pa. Little League® International Tournament logo: Little League® has created an updated 2013 Little League International Tournament Logo for your league's needs. This logo can be used for activities revolving around international tournament season. In order for a league or district to receive the logo, contact Eric Hill in the Licensing Department (email@example.com) to complete a single use agreement.
Registration Information: Districts should strongly encourage local leagues to submit regular season player registration/roster information and coach/manager data through the Little League Data Center in accordance with the impending ASAP regulation that will be mandatory for the 2014 season. Leagues can opt to submit team rosters, but must submit information by June 5, 2013.
All waivers requests (for the league, team, player, manager, and/or coach) of any kind must be submitted and approved no later than June 5, 2013. All regular season team rosters must be submitted to Little League International in accordance with the requirements outlined in Regulation IV (g), no later than June 5, 2013.
