Awards Program: The nomination submission deadline is June 1, 2010 for the 2010 Little League Awards Program. World Series Tickets: Ticket request forms for the 2010 Little League Baseball World Series have been e-mailed or mailed. Please complete the form and return it to Pam Wright by June 4, 2010. Please direct any questions to Pam Wright, at pwright@LittleLeague.org; or 570-326-1921, ext. 243.
Tournament Affidavit and Supplies: Tournament affidavits, and related documents and supplies, including mileage forms and medical release forms, will be mailed in specific groups designated by region. If a league charters teams in baseball and softball divisions, two separate mailings will be received. Rule Changes in Effect for 2010 season: Descriptions of changes to Little League's rules and regulations that are in effect for the 2010 regular and tournament seasons, including changes approved as result of voting at the 25th Little League International Congress, are available for review. Chartering for 2010: There may be local leagues in your district that submitted a charter in 2009, but have not yet not done so for the 2010 season. Please log on to the Little League Data Center to determine what leagues in your district have not completed and submitted a charter application for this season. Compensation for Services Provided: Questions regarding compensation for services provided to local Little Leagues are becoming more common. Eligibility Waiver Deadline: All waiver requests involving player eligibility must be processed by the district and respective regional offices, and acted upon by the Little League International Charter Committee in Williamsport, no later than June 8, 2010 and prior to said player or league participating in the Little League tournament games. All waivers requests (for the league, team, player, manager, and/or coach) of any kind must be submitted and approved not later than June 8, 2010. All regular season team rosters must be submitted to Little League International in accordance with the requirements outlined in Regulation IV (g), not later than June 8, 2010.
Hats and Supplies: District Administrator hats and other specific supplies will be delivered prior to the tournament mailing. All updates on tournament resources are available on-line here: http://www.littleleague.org/tournamentresources.htm
Adjust and Update Rosters and Charter information: The deadline for changes to 2010 charter and roster information is June 8, 2010. Changes include, but are not limited to, updates and adjustments to team rosters, total teams chartered for the year, insurance coverage and proper listing of teams by division.
