Rule Books and Other Copyrighted Publications
When a local
Little League applies for and receives approval for the annual
charter, Little League International provides the league with two
rule books for each team in the league, plus an Operating Manual, at
no charge. This means Little League provides more than 400,000 of
these publications each year, at no cost,
to our member leagues.
Rule books and
the Operating Manual are copyrighted publications of Little League
International. Access to these publications is just one of the many
benefits of membership in Little League. For those interested in
taking advantage of these benefits by becoming affiliated with Little
League, click here:

Although Little
League provides hundreds of thousands of the books free of charge,
they are also available for purchase (on-line, by phone or through
mail order) exclusively from Little League by District Administrators,
Assistant District Administrators, members of the local Little League
board of directors, and their appointed agents. The books may also be
purchased in person by those district or local Little League personnel
attending functions at one of the headquarters offices of Little
League Baseball and Softball.
If a volunteer in
a chartered Little League other than those mentioned above wishes to
obtain a copy of a rule book or Operating Manual, he/she should simply
request one through the local Little League board of directors or a
member of the District Staff.
Little League
volunteers may
contact the regional office for any other questions about
obtaining rule books or other copyrighted publications. |
