Little League International Board of Directors Meeting

In mid-November, the Little League International Board of Directors will be coming to South Williamsport for its fall meeting to discuss important topics as well as plan ahead for the next meeting in April. More information, including any news and decisions that are made, will be available on LittleLeague.org the week following the meeting.

League Resource Guide Available Soon

Formerly known as the Chartering and Marketing Toolkit, the 2017 League Resource Guide will be printed and sent out to local leagues this month. This will only be sent to leagues who have updated their officers for 2017 on the Data Center, so make sure your league has submitted those updates! All educational resources and content can also be found on Little League University.

Little League PSA Lookout

Be sure to keep an eye out on ESPN this month for Little League Public Service Announcements (PSA) as they begin to air on the ESPN Family of Networks. Last month, Little League Baseball and Softball also joined up with ESPN to film a PSA for Tee Ball, which will begin airing later this year.

World of Little League® Museum Upcoming Events

Throughout November, the World of Little League: Peter J. McGovern Museum and Official Store will be hosting a series of events for visitors to attend:

Every Day Is Veterans’ Day – While admission for Veterans and Active Duty and National Guard/Reserve military members (and up to five guests) is free every day of the year with appropriate ID, the World of Little League Museum will be offering a free Little League Baseball® World Series pin to all those who visit during the month of November as a way of saying “Thank You” to those who have served their country.

Kids Day with WVIA – On November 19, the World of Little League Museum will be teaming up with Public Media WVIA to host Kids Day with WVIA to give an opportunity for visitors to meet with non-profit youth organizations and learn about their programs as well as participate in other fun activities.
