Taney Youth Baseball Association Little League's Mo'ne Davis continues to have an exciting year.

After the Taney Little League team made a great run in the 2014 Little League Baseball® World Series, Ms. Davis and her teammates have had wonderful opportunities to share their dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship at venues throughout the United States.

On Thanksgiving Day, the entire team opened the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and on Thursday, December 4, Ms. Davis joined President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, their daughters Malia and Sasha, actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, and a host of performers at the 2014 National Christmas Tree Lighting at the White House.

After being introduced by Mr. Hanks, Ms. Davis joined the First Lady in reading 'Twas the Night Before Christmas to the audience. More information on the ceremony can be found on the White House blog.
