After pushing across two runs in the top of the second, Latin America faced just a 3-2 deficit. An RBI single by Lizbeth Lugo and an RBI single by Maria Espinoza triggered Latin America's comeback. East stopped the rally after Morgan Ryan got Nicole Moran to strike out.
East added two more runs in the bottom of the fifth. The inning looked promising, as Uschock singled, scoring Autumn Beasley to kick things off. That was followed up by Megan Monzo's single, bringing home Uschock.
