(Feb. 15, 2012) - In November 2011, Little League International informed its local leagues that because of recent changes in several states’ positions regarding the availability of sex offender registry information, background checks conducted exclusively through LexisNexis did not satisfy Regulation I [c] [8] and [9]. As of 8 a.m. Eastern U.S. Time on Feb. 14, 2012, background checks conducted using LexisNexis once again satisify the regulation.</description>
