President Obama Meets 2009 Little League Baseball World Series Champs
WASHINGTON, D.C. (Feb. 8, 2010) - The 2009 Little League Baseball World Series Champions from Park View Little League in Chula Vista, Calif., traveled cross-country to Washington, D.C., for a visit to the White House and a face-to-face meeting with President Barack Obama. The team came bearing gifts, including a green-and-white Park View Little League jersey for the President with “Obama” written across the back. The team also enjoyed a tour of the White House and a visit to the Capitol building.
